 Support neighbourhood planning that prioritizes safe routes to schools, walkability, accessibility, active transportation, recreation opportunities, transit connections, and strong links to everyday services that make family life easier.

 Work with community organizations, sports groups, and local partners to identify and reduce barriers preventing children and youth from participating in sports, recreation, arts, culture, and community activities.

 Ensure future investments in parks, recreation, gathering spaces, and community amenities consider the needs of the entire city so residents across Prince George can benefit from a high quality of life regardless of where they live – whether it’s the Hart, College Heights, Blackburn, or throughout the Bowl.

 Advocate for additional childcare spaces and more flexible childcare options that better meet the needs of working families, including shift workers, healthcare workers, and tradespeople, while supporting local efforts to bring new spaces online.

 Champion and adopt policies that prioritize age-friendly community design principles in parks, sidewalks, trails, crossings, transit, neighbourhood planning, and civic infrastructure so residents can remain active, independent, and connected as they age.

 Advocate for a full continuum of seniors housing options that prioritizes independence whenever possible, while ensuring appropriate multi-generational homes, assisted living, supportive housing, and long term care resources are available when needed close to family, friends, and community.

 Support investments in accessibility, seating, lighting, pathways, public washrooms, and other practical improvements that help seniors safely access public spaces, services, and community amenities.

 Recognize caregivers and caregiving supports as essential infrastructure and advocate for stronger respite, caregiver support, and community based resources that help people care for loved ones while maintaining their own wellbeing.

 Continue using every municipal, regional, hospital district, and intergovernmental forum available to advocate for healthcare resources, seniors care investments, and age-friendly policies that support northern seniors and reflect Prince George's role as Northern BC's healthcare hub.

 Commit to ongoing engagement with seniors and seniors' organizations so their voices remain part of City decision making, long term planning, and advocacy.

 Build on the success of Move Up PG by championing a community wide effort to attract and retain graduates, apprentices, tradespeople, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and young families by promoting Prince George as a place where people can build successful careers, put down roots, and build meaningful lives.

 Prioritize and promote PG being Northern BC's hub for entertainment, festivals, events, conferences, music, arts, culture, and nightlife that make Prince George a more vibrant and exciting place to live, so young people have more reasons to stay, connect, and build community.

 Promote Prince George's competitive advantages, including attainable homeownership, short commutes, outdoor recreation, career opportunities, and quality of life, as part of a coordinated effort to attract talent and encourage former residents to return home.

 Further develop growing Prince George's social economy by supporting restaurants, pubs, entertainment, and vibrant public spaces that make our community a more exciting place to live year round.

 Explore City led initiatives that engage and support internships, volunteering, leadership opportunities, and partnerships that help students, marginalized individuals, and young professionals build connections, gain experience, and establish roots in PG.

 Recognize tourism as a key economic sector by positioning Prince George as the gathering place of Northern British Columbia and supporting investments that attract visitors, conferences, tournaments, festivals, outdoor recreation, concerts, performances, cultural celebrations, and other destination experiences that strengthen local businesses and community life.

 Advance a Civic Core District vision that residents support, addressing infrastructure gaps while creating modern spaces for arts, culture, sports, recreation, entertainment, and community gathering that serve Prince George for generations to come.

 Prioritize the continued growth and enhancement of major recreation and tourism assets such as Pidherny Recreation Site, Otway Nordic Centre, local trail networks, sport facilities, and outdoor recreation opportunities that improve quality of life for locals and attract visitors from all over.

 Pursue practical opportunities to better connect residents and visitors to the Fraser and Nechako Rivers through recreation, tourism, conservation, public gathering spaces, viewpoints, trails, and river oriented amenities.

 Develop a long term Destination Parks Strategy that identifies opportunities for signature parks, public gathering places, waterfront destinations, family attractions, recreation amenities, and unique experiences that strengthen civic pride, improve quality of life, and encourage people to spend more time enjoying our community.
